Luciano gradually increased the size of the vineyard plots he owned and through continuing to make wine every year, he increasingly came to be recognised as on of the regions top winemakers. Luciano, with his younger brother Luka, continue to work hard to make wonderful wine and today this achievement is acknowledged around the world with their wines receiving high acclaim. Because of the two brothers’ understanding, daily care and respect for the vineyard, they are the first to be able to reflect these characteristics in their wines.

Luciano Sandrone Dolcetto d'Alba DOC

This is a very simple and traditionally made wine. This well-balanced wine is a product of a blend of vineyards with completely different characters. The grapes are sourced from Barolo Rivassi, Crosia/ Monforte d’Alba Castelleto,Cascina Pe Mol / Novello Ravera, with the average vine age being 25 years. It is ruby red with intense purple hues, and fresh, with a fruity prune-like scent. The palate is full, round and structured with good presence of sweet tannins and well-balanced acidity.

Luciano Sandrone Barbera d'Alba DOC

This is a stunning Barbera from one of Barolo’s greatest producers. The year 2016 gave us harmonious climatic conditions, resulting in a Barbera that is both elegant and complex. It has an intense purple color with ruby highlights. The aromas are full and forward; first there are scents of ripe red fruits of excellent maturity, with notes of cherries preserved in alcohol, prune plums and jam. These are followed by soft aromas of cacao and spices such as black pepper, which in turn open to reveal ethereal notes of perfectly toasted oak. The palate is dry, warm and full, and the continuing aromatics recall the initial fragrant notes of red berry jam. The bright acidity both frames and focuses the excellent drinkability.
