The Mondavi family has always championed Cabernet Sauvignon as Napa Valley's premier grape.  Emblem represents the continuation of this once visionary commitment and the passing of the torch to the next generation of the Michael Mondavi family.

Under the Emblem label, siblings Rob Mondavi, Jr. and Dina Mondavi collaborate in producing two distinct Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons - a long-lived, structured wine from the family's Oso Vineyard nestled between Ink Grade and Howell Mountain, and the more approachable Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend crafted from grapes procured from several locations across Napa Valley.

Emblem Carneros Chardonnay

Emblem Chardonnay marks the premier voyage into the Petaluma Gap, a sub-appellation of the Sonoma Coast AVA. The unique aspect of the Petaluma Gap region is that it consistently experiences much greater wind speeds than its neighboring regions in southern/western Sonoma County. This, along with the consistent fog, produced conditions that lead to a positive impact on the growth of vines and ultimately high-quality wines with great character.
