Chardonnay has been the most widely planted and hardest working premium white varietal in Australia for many years now. Premium parcels of Chardonnay were specially sourced from various regions of South Australia to craft a wine of outstanding presence and refinement.
Brilliant straw color with green tints and outstanding clarity. Lifted fruity notes of ripe peach and melons predominate. The palate is richly varietal with a crisp acid backbone and finish, matching precisely the sweet melon, fig and peachy fruits.
The Lackey, produced by Kilikanoon, a boutique Clare Valley winery with an international reputation for producing regionally expressive, terroir-driven wines.
