The wine has an intense purple colour and delivers nice black fruit scents. In the palate, it has a pleasant aromatic strength and a beautiful finesse in the tannins.

Winery Description

Chateau Baulos-Charmes is situated in the heart of the Pessac-Leognan area in the very old Graves region. It owes its name to its 1792 owner, Monsieur Baulos who was from a Bordeaux wine broking family.
By 1762, the vineyard was already in existence and over the centuries saw different owners: the Baulos family then the Lafitte family from 1827-1948.
During the fifties, the vineyard was reduced and finally came to a halt in 1983. In 2000, it was taken over by Sean Matthys-Meynard and is now enjoying a fresh start.
